Ingredients
  

500g beef flank or sirloin, thinly sliced

1 cup cornstarch

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp ginger powder

2 large fresh red chillies, sliced

1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce

3 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp sesame oil

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Beef:

    - In a bowl, combine the cornstarch, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Mix well.

      - Add the thinly sliced beef to the flour mixture, ensuring each piece is well-coated.

        Fry the Beef:

          - In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

            - Once hot, add the beef in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy (about 3-4 minutes per batch). Remove and drain on paper towels.

              Make the Sauce:

                - In a separate bowl, mix the sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.

                  Combine and Serve:

                    - In the same pan, lower the heat to medium and add the sliced chillies. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

                      - Pour the sauce over the chillies and stir to combine and heat through.

                        - Add the crispy beef back to the pan and toss until coated in the sauce.

                          Garnish and Enjoy:

                            - Serve the crispy chilli beef hot, garnished with chopped green onions. Pair it with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
