Ingredients

12 slider rolls

2 lbs roast beef, thinly sliced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste

Optional: Fresh rosemary for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Sauté Onions: In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the thinly sliced onions and sauté until they are softened and golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Broth: In a separate saucepan, combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Bring to a gentle simmer and let cook for about 5 minutes to enhance the flavors.

Assemble the Sliders: Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally. In a baking dish, place the bottom halves of the rolls. Layer half of the roast beef on the bottom of the rolls, followed by half of the sautéed onions, and top with Swiss cheese. Repeat with the remaining roast beef, onions, and cheese.

Add the Top Half: Place the top halves of the slider rolls on top of the assembled filling.

Bake: Pour half of the beef broth mixture over the assembled sliders, allowing it to soak in. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.

Serve with Dipping Sauce: While the sliders are baking, heat the rest of the beef broth mixture. Once sliders are done, cut them into individual servings and serve with the warm broth on the side for dipping.
