Ingredients

12 large jumbo pasta shells

2 cups fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce

Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling, salted water, cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.

Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Stuff the Shells: Take each pasta shell and fill it generously with the spinach and ricotta mixture using a spoon or a piping bag for easier filling.

Assemble the Dish: Pour half of the marinara sauce into the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange the stuffed shells in a single layer on top of the sauce. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.

Add Remaining Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top of the sauce-covered shells.

Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
