1 lb (450g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried thyme

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Juice of 1 lemon

1 tablespoon olive oil

Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken pieces with paprika, dried oregano, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Toss to ensure all pieces are well coated.

    Heat the Pan: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat until the butter is melted and bubbling.

      Cook the Chicken: Add the seasoned chicken pieces to the skillet. Sear the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

        Make Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant but not burnt.

          Combine: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stirring to coat the chicken in the garlic butter sauce. Add the lemon juice and toss everything together for 1-2 minutes to combine.

            Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve warm as an appetizer or over rice/pasta as a main dish.
