Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup BBQ sauce (your choice)

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

8 small corn or flour tortillas

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 cup diced tomatoes

1/2 cup grated cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)

Fresh cilantro for garnish

Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Brown the Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.

Season: Stir in the honey, BBQ sauce, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, letting the flavors meld together.

Warm the Tortillas: In a separate pan, warm the tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

Assemble the Tacos: For each tortilla, add a generous spoonful of the BBQ beef mixture, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheese.

Garnish: Top with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.
