Ingredients

1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/3 cup honey

2 tablespoons sriracha (adjust for spice preference)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Salmon: Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes, about 1-inch pieces. Pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Marinate the Salmon: In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Add the salmon cubes and toss gently to coat. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.

Make the Hot Honey Sauce: In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, mix honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Stir continuously until heated through and slightly thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cook the Salmon: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) or heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. If using an air fryer, arrange the salmon cubes in a single layer in the basket. Cook for about 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. If using a skillet, sear the salmon for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.

Coat in Sauce: Once cooked, drizzle the hot honey sauce over the salmon bites, tossing gently to coat.

Serve: Transfer the hot honey salmon bites to a platter, garnish with fresh cilantro or sliced green onions, and serve warm.
