Ingredients

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into 16 small cubes

16 slices of pepperoni

1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare Dough: Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface and separate it into the triangles along the perforated edges.

Assemble Filling: On the wide end of each triangle, place a slice of pepperoni and a cube of mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using) on top.

Roll It Up: Starting from the wide end of the triangle, carefully roll the dough towards the pointed end, wrapping the filling inside. Ensure that the ending point of the dough is tucked under the roll to help it stay closed during baking.

Brush with Egg: Place the rolled croissants onto the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops of each roll with the beaten egg for a nice golden color when baked.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed up.

Cool and Serve: Allow the rolled croissants to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 8 rolls
